Lyrics
NEVER TAKE YOU BACK (J.JERNIGAN/J.MARSHALL) Just sitting around thinking about how times are changing as they do and how I need another cigarette to reflect the good times we've spent, what happened to you Will the days keep turning into nights, then into months cause it may be years before I hear anything new about you dear and if so I guess that's the way it goes I deem it best to let it rest and try to walk away knowing I'll never take you back x6 not if you gave me the whole wide world these days can seem so strange how every change brings it's reasons, for me to find myself but when the times they get rough I'll count my blessings and find it's enough to get me through the day Just sit back while I attack this track and sing a song about the girl that never ever wanted back She could be the reason why I find it hard to close my eyes but I know I've grown some huge supplies for the next one groomed to ruin my life these cloudy skies they've wonder by this brand new day is just outside this time I'll take a step aside and look through someone else's eyes I've been broken, beaten, battered, bruised waiting here for happy news but the advice I should've ever used was to. Never take you back x6 not if you gave me the whole wide world these days can seem so strange, when every change brings it's reasons for me to find myself but when the times they get rough I'll count my blessings and find it's enough to get me through the day
