D - Dave born as Donald Davis was raised in Harlem NYC, he started rapping at about the age of 15 where his rep grew fast and traveled from his block to his high school A. Philip Randolph. But that wasn't enough for the local emcee who wanted a bigger buzz. So D Dave moved to the Bronx, and built a lil buzz for himself by appearing on such public access shows as Mad Ciphas , Tha Block Party, On tha Block TV and H20 T.V. D Dave is managed by himself and backed by 1B Entertainment a management company put together by himself, his cousin and some friends. D Dave performed in showcases all over New York in clubs and lounges such as Avalon, The Remote Lounge, The Hammerstein Ballroom and Don Hillz to name a few. But it wasn't till after winning a couple of Mixtapenyc.com's artist showcases where D Dave will be noticed. A CEO from an independent label took a lot of interest in D Dave after he won the show. But after a meeting D Dave turned down the deal so he can re - do his demo and record an album which is now filled with songs with catchy hooks such as the hook on " My Dude " and " More Than Friends " and club bangers such as " Go Crazy " and " Bring It Back ". D Dave is also dropping a street mixtape called " Da Answer " where D Dave rhymes over numerous industry tracks to prove his point, "He can give it to you anyway u want it". Now with D Dave being more than just an artist. He's now producing tracks for himself and other artists and managing himself and other artists. He now feels he's the NEXT BIG THING.
