M.J. was a one man music project of Mike Jacobsen. It was started in 1996, and ended in 2013 when he got married, and thusly the name would have changed.
BIO Of M.J. The "Eras" of M.J. are split up accordingly... Story behind the song
I came up with this in RandyTab one night when I was feeling like writing something musically complex. The end result was named after a girl I was trying to start a relationship with at the time, and of course, would mark the last time I ever wrote a song with a girls name. After this time, I started believing in "The Jinx", which is, if you name something after the gal you want, it will bring harm to you and screw up your chances. So far that belief has helped vastly.
