Lyrics
For eight years he kept the time Got us groovin in double time Now I go to look around Noone's holding the rhythm down He hit those skins like noone can Rock and rollin the computer man Now there's nothin but an empty stool He's Spinal Tappin' at another school Don't know where, don't know who What did the drummer do? WHERE DID THE DRUMMER GO? I wander dazed through an empty beat Don't even know how to tap my feet Feet have rhythm, feet keep time But mine are missing, mime went bye You don't know what your drummer do You can't rock if you don't have a clue I miss mine, he kept it real That drummer was the rockin' deal Don't know where, don't know who What did the drummer do? WHERE DID THE DRUMMER GO?

Where Did The Drummer Go? Okay, I had to listen to this one because of the drummer reference. Ended up being a seventies styled rocker about a drummer (Who knew?). Subtle clave in the background of a slow and enticing (almost hypnotic) beat in the vein of Fog hat (well, that who it reminded me of!). The highlight was the lead guitar (not long for me). Oh yeah, and I liked the story ! P.S. the picture of Animal was a nice touch
