Story behind the song
Shania Twain's song "Party For Two" was a big inspiration for this song. Shortly after it was released, the producer I was working with, Jim Stoeber, had sent me an mp3 of new backing tracks for my new album. When I heard the music for this song, I loved it and immediately wanted to write lyrics to it. At that time I was so overwhelmed with my day job, gigs and other things I didn't even know what to write about. So I just wrote about my situation - being so busy but wanting to take time out for myself...just for tonight.

This song grabbed me immediately. Sheer awesome vocal performance with power and flair... vocals, melody, arrangement and harmony are working hand in hand to satisfy this listener's appetite for simply great music. Must come back to listen to more soon...
