For over 40 years I played lead guitar and did back-up vocals in various country bands. It has been one of the greatest thrills of my life. But, these days I stay at home and compose songs, both lyrics and music. My writing style is much broader than just country music. I also write southern rock, a little blues, lots of smooth jazz and movie themes and even some latin music. I have been writing for about 20 years and hope to for quite a few more years.

Story behind the song
This is one of three songs I wrote from one original melody. I wasn't sure which direction i wanted to take the original melody, so I wrote three individual songs around it. This is my favorite or the three. The other two are "Funk You Very Much", which is already posted here at Soundclick, and "Half Past Midnight", which I will be posting soon. Although each of the three songs stands quite well individually, in my opinion, if you listen to all three songs you should be able to discern the common musical thread that is woven into the basic melody of all three songs.
