I got the idea of making this song because times was rough. First verse is about the temptations in my mind. Second verse was about me actually being knocked off the grind. Third verse is about me doing what I can to maintain.
I really needed money bad for my family. I was just sitting there after I been working so hard on Hard Times and was still wondering how I can get money so I figured I'd get on my grind. But as I was thinking about it I was over here putting a song together as well.
