Piano based tune. The aux. percussion might be slightly annoying. My bad.

Story behind the song
I originally wrote this song on guitar. I recorded it for a music technology assignment, using Garageband. Normally I'd go for a more simplistic sound but we had to use a certain number of elements. The song is about finding the balance between your personal and professional lives.
Lyrics
Eyes forward Hands gripping At ten and two O' clock positions Rain washes Your windshield As you begin to Plaster on your face But your plastic smiles Evaporate [chorus] When the night comes The night comes You crawl in bed alone The night comes The night comes We've all got something bottled up inside "Well at least I'm unique" That's what you tell yourself You might say We're all snowflakes When it comes down to it They're just frozen water Condensed and crystalized And they're the same thing When they evaporate [chorus] Life wasn't supposed to be like this This isn't what you imagined as a kid Working just to live and living just to die So put on a brave face, dry your swollen eyes Clear your throat and go back to work Your plastic smiles Evaporate [chorus]
