Story behind the song
I was asked to tab this tune. This goes with that tab.

There To Here (For correct copying format: Tabbed using Courier New 10-Font) SoundClick Link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=83982&songID=5932852 -In Capoed DADGAD Tuning This tune was done in DADGAD-tuning, with a capo on the 4th-fret. My tab-lines below are done "from the capo." In other words, the capo is now the nut/open-fret and the notes are numbered from it. For example --2-- means the 2nd-fret above the capo (it's actually the true 6th-fret), etc. Doesn't really matter if you use a capo or not, if you don't it'll still be the same except four whole steps lower in pitch than the or- iginal recording was done in. I've tabbed as many notes as possible, including some notes I've put inside ( ). What it means is that they are not played as distinctly as the other notes. If a note inside of parentheses is immediately above or below another non-( ) note, it means that I felt that it was sort of sounded WITH the stronger note, either as part of that more domin- ant note being picked, or that it sounded "sympathetically" on its own, adding to the tone. When a ( )-note is shown on its own, for example --0---(0)--- it means that the note was softly picked as just part of the overall "rhythmic feel" of the tune. Sort of a "busy-note." I don't mean the note isn't necessary, but that it was just part of the rhythm of the tune and not so much part of the tune's melody itself. Generally speaking, any of these "busy-notes" could be substituted by another "busy-note" on another string, or sometimes even omitted, and the tune would sound pretty much the same. It needs these notes to keep the flowing rhythm constant of course, but the rhythm of the note is more important than the actual note itself and so it's not all that important to hit the exact string. They are almost always open-strings and another open-string will usually work just as well. You can bet the person who per- formed this tune didn't play it to a pre-written tab or sheet-music. Just making sure the basic melody and figures were played, and keeping the flow constant with the addition of these "busy-notes." I think you know what I mean. Below, I'll use the letters "hm" for harmonics; "po" for pull-offs; and "h" for hammer-ons. Anyway, I'll get on to the tab itself, beginning with the harmonics played on the first five strings on the 12th-fret above the capo. (On the neck it's actually on the 16-fret of course.)
