Story behind the song
I'm often asking myself if the free time I have, is used the right way. Will we ever know that before it's too late ? This guy decides to stop and pick up the pieces of his life. All the things he didn't do and all the things he overlooked. But it hurts and he's still wondering if he should have continued the life in the fastlane and leave everything as it was...
Lyrics
He used to have dreams, he used to be loved, life was like a rollercoaster heading for the top. He changed with the seasons and followed his calls. created possibilities - oh he had it all. A look in the mirror tell him who he is - Not really sure if he like what he sees. He should have kept driving ahead on his lonely road, but now he's hurted instead - it's easily shown. He shouldn't have stopped and looked back - at the things he left behind, Now he surely could see, that he'd wasted his time. All the pain he tries to hide, Now it's killing him inside. He worked his carreer and got things his way, No time for happiness it's a high price he payed He let her down too many times - she went out the door and now he wants to change it back to how it was before A look in the mirror tell him who he is - Not really sure if he like what he sees. He should have kept driving ahead on his lonely road, but now he's hurted instead - it's easily shown. He shouldn't have stopped and looked back - at the things he left behind, Now he surely could see, that he'd wasted his time. All the pain he tries to hide, Now it's killing him inside. She said she saw the best of him, but like a drill's running dry, he lost his sparkling energy and he never told her why. Did it really matters anymore - what difference did he make he saw his life passing by no more joy no more cries. He used to have dreams he used to be loved, life was like a rollercoaster heading for the top (©Joensson)

Cool sound with some great guitar riffs and guitar solo. Great vocals but especially captivating lyrics, like the analogy of the rollercoaster and the underlying message behind the lyrics. Very well-written and performed.
