A comedy band with occasionally serious songs to sing. A bit like a stand-up comedian telling us about how a puppy died.
Exactly Midnight started when one man purchased himself a keyboard, and knew his destiny was to become a megastar, impressing the world with keyboard solos and beautiful ballads. Then he realised all he could play was Seven Nation Army. Flash forward three years later, and this man was performing live music under the alias "Exactly Midnight". However, the shows were a mix of stand-up comedy and live melodic ballads. He faced a tough decision... to keep going with the serious emotional songs, or to continue with the comedic songs and parodies? After a pancake, he decided to do both. And this is the end result.

Lyrics
I'm in a phase. Feels like I'm not needed for a million days. I picture your face without saying anything new. You say it's lies. The grievances are all alibies. The crimson skies we witnessed in the East? You say you've seen it all before. I've got a thousand miles til I get more. You can't be sure if I've got that far. Nightdriving. I've got to beat the morning light.. I've gotta mke sure you're alright, 'cause your audition is tomorrow. I'm in your eyes. We've got to lock, got to paralyse. Anethatised Kareoke Nights. I say "I've heard this song before, there's a couple drinks until I'm bored." I can't be sure if your name's been called. Nightdriving. Foot down, accelerate. I've go to beat the intoxicated. It's been ages since I've waited for your smile. You wanted to be wrong. For once. You never want to be first, never want to be last, never look to the future or to the past. You never wanted the girl, never wanted the ghost. Just wanted to live your life to the most. Never wanna be right, never wanna be wrong, you never looked for an analogy that's trapped in a song. Didn't ask me for proof, didn't ask for a grave, you just wanted to misbehave. All the crazy distractions that got in your way, you couldn't push them aside, you couldn't throw them away. Never wanted the girl. Never wanted the ghost. Just wanted to live your life nightdriving. He's coming soon. Don't say I didn't warn you. Your Mister Darcy's just around the corner.
