I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
The Welsh folk band, Ar Log, recorded this traditional folk tune (instrumental) on their first album. I got confirmation that this was indeed a traditional folk song from the area of Dolgellau from the band member who selected this song for the album (the chords were OK'ed, too). I always liked this tune. The story about Mary Jones, a young girl who walked a long distance to get a Welsh bible also takes place somewhere Dolgellau.
