Seems I've always paid the price
For broken hearts I've left behind
I'm never happy where I'm at
Seems I'm always looking back
I've tried to leave the past behind
But the more I live......the more I find
That what I want is what I had

Not losing sight of where I've gone
But looking over my shoulder
It's hard to see the road I'm on
Will I find someone ahead
Someone to lead me down this path
Or will I someday find.....I've left love behind
And spend my life ...Looking back
God only knows if I've been right or wrong
If I'll find somewhere where I belong
A place where I can hang my hat
And spend some time not looking back
