Mélo-Groove : Sting meets Bob Marley meets Seal
Multitalented singer, songwriter & producer Francis Jocky is something of an enigma, an artist with universal appeal and blessed with a unique voice. His music is a mellow blend of fantastic pop songwriting, international sounds and flavors, and soulful instrumentation. From an early age he learned to express himself through music and by the age of twelve had begun playing piano and writing his own songs. Francis Jocky has a wonderful duality as an artist, which probably has its roots in his combined educational and musical training. He is the recipient of a Ph.D. in International Relations from the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris, France. While his recorded music is remarkable, live performances are his strength. During a live performance with Bono, the legendary U2 frontman remarked, “Francis, you are a star!” After working or sharing the mic with artists such as Jon Anderson, Stevie Wonder, Bono, Jacques Higelin and Isaac Hayes among many others, Francis Jocky continues his solo journey after his debut release, Mr Pain, with his second release "SANCTIFIED", talking about love, the state of the world and the human condition.

Lyrics
Somewhere there's a hole in the ocean Draining out the world in slow motion Someones chasing after their millions No one's looking after the children No one's looking into the future Seeing the light of solution Every ones chasing their millions No one's looking after the children Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why Must they cry, must they cry, must they cry Evidence is piling up higher How long can we put out the fire How many crusades will we take up Till the world is ready to break up Why can't we protect one another Speaking like a brother to brother Caught in the pain of the pleasure Deep in the soul is the treasure Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why Do we cry, do we cry, do we cry Somewhere there's a hole in the ocean Draining out the world in slow motion Someones chasing after their millions No one's looking after the children Caught in the pain of the pleasure Deep in the soul is the treasure Somewhere there's a hole in the ocean Draining out the world in slow motion Hold on my children - hold on PIANO, BASS, VOCALS : FJ
