The first movement is based off of a piano solo (hence the piano solo towards the end) that I wrote about 5 years ago. The second movement is based off of my first truly orchestral composition which describes five different characters. This melody is describing a character that is typically lively, but has a dark side. The prelude melodies I just created for this piece and plan to use them as transitional movements to create a whole song similar to Mussorgsky's "Picture's at an Exhibition"
