He also played all instruments and vocals on all songs, except on the album (produced by the African American producer Forrest Thomas) and on the Dutch song 'Doe Maar Multicultureel'. In these songs, Doc Jazz collaborated with prominent professionals from the Dutch jazz and fusion scene. His music can be found in a wide variety of styles ranging from piano ballads to funky music with a groove and with a taste of Doc Jazz's characteristic rock guitar solos (and on 'Front Door Key' the mesmerizing saxophone solos of Susanne Alt) - in three languages:. A Palestinian short shepherd's flute called the is also often featured in the songs. One last note: don't assume the music of Doc Jazz is only political! If you scroll through the vast collection of songs, you will find many songs about other subjects of love, and of life!

Lyrics
finally standing at the station Bags r packed we're ready to roll figured out our destination Aint nothing left but to finally go But the train Aint nowhere near in sight It took some time to get a confirmation tried so hard to be in time imagine our consternation found ourselves waiting in line For that train That aint nowhere near in sight Hey mr station man with the uniform can u tell us whats going on? We were supposed to have left long ago Is there still hope our train will come? It wasnt easy to just pack and go cuz when u leave u leave so much behind But now we're feeling so gung-ho There is no messing with our minds Cause that train Aint nowhere near in sight Hey mr station man with the uniform can u tell us whats going on? We were supposed to have left long ago Is there still hope our train will come? Well how do u think i feel today I cant believe that train is so astray Cause I've checked my watch and i checked the date I cant believe that train is late please dont tell me its late We tried to get an explanation But the station man just shook his head There's nothing at this dog-gone station the train went somewhere else instead Cause that train Aint nowhere near in sight looks like theres nothing we can do but Sit right where we are and wait if we still hope to get somewhere We ll have to take a train that's late Cause that train Aint nowhere near in sight Hey mr station man with the uniform can u tell us whats going on? We were supposed to have left long ago Is there still hope the train will come? Dont wanna be heading for a lousy weekend
