Story behind the song
It's what a RawkDawg's life is
Lyrics
I’m a Hard Workin’, Girl Watchin’, Foot Stompin’, Geetar Pickin’, Hillbilly Rawkdawg. I like my Skynryd loud and proud, Drivin’ the road from town to town, Born and raised in the Ozark Hills, Playin’ geetar, Man, Is how I get my thrills, I’m a Harley Ridin’, Road Scorchin’, Rowdy Livin’, Rock-n-Rollin’, Hillbilly Rawkdawg. I mind my business, I make my tracks, Do what I do, I’m kickin’ it jack. I’ll play it hard, take it to the sky, I‘ll bring her home, Man, I’ll make her fly. I’m a Pick-up Truckin’, Rodeo Hitchin’, Tobacca’ Chewin’, Boot Scootin’, Hillbilly Rawkdawg. I call the shots, I’m my own, Livin’ my life out on the road. I’m lean and mean, bad to the bone, Take me on, Man, I’m tough as stone. I’m a Red-Neckin’, Whiskey Drinkin’, Ass Kickin’, Son of a Bitchin’, Hillbilly Rawkdawg. I play my music, from bar to bar, I love pickin’ this old beat up geetar. I’ll play it hard, take it to the sky, I‘ll bring her home, Man, I’ll make her fly. I play all night, Man, I’ll make her sing, ‘Til the cow comes home or the fat lady sings
