Contemporary Praise and Worship
I started writing music in 1998. I started with congregational praise and worship music, but recently have been writing and arranging what I affectionately call "Neo-Classical Folk." Have a listen to see what I mean.

Story behind the song
This song began as a solo piano piece for my daughter in a book we found by Melody Bober - "Praise the Lord", subtitled "Creative Settings for Worship." I really enjoy her arrangements - they are creative and enjoyable to listen to. When my daughter played this song, I could hear the orchestral accompanyment in my head, so this project became a task of getting it out of my head and into the computer. Technical: All of the orchestral instruments are from the Garritan Personal Orchestra supplied with Finale. The piano sample is the Equinox Yamaha (brighter than the Steinway). Each track was recorded in Finale (save the piano), and exported as a wav file to Powertracks Pro Audio, where I applied some final automation and reverb. The reverb is the Strong Ambience from the Lexicon 960 ambience reverbs at Noisevault.com, using the SIR convolution reverb.
