Female sung straight-forward rock with a touch of darkness...literally
All my songwriting comes from a place of total honesty and a sense of sarcasm. I sing about love and all the emotional complexities of being in love, losing yourself, toughening yourself up and all in all the struggles of being alive.

Story behind the song
I originally wrote this song long, long ago in an tragical galaxy (not so) far, far away. The song was then called, Scar, and the lyrics were all about self-inflicted adolescent drama. The opening words to the song were, "When I told you, that I was afraid, I meant to say that I was ashamed - for the little things I do to me, well they only add up in my misery..." you get the picture. The words weren't half bad for a teenager but I just thought the song needed some lyrical updating. These new lyrics are about my opinion on the hullabaloo about traveling to Mars or exploring the universe in general. The reason mysteries are so beautiful and intriguing is because they ARE mysteries. It seems that people are compelled to conquer the unknown instead of just leaving it be. Also, I get the feeling that the mindset behind space exploration is all about finding more resources to exploit along with the hope that problems can be avoided by continuing to run far away from them. I like running away from problems but I'm well aware that if I were some cycloptic alien in a distant dimension that I'd still have the same problems. Limited eyesight might be one of them. So this song is a commentary on how no matter where you go, there you are.
Lyrics
At the turnstile For my destination Well I stole a ticket to Another distant dimension Well I guess you blame me For wanting too much Just wait 'til I get there On the Galaxy Bus! Well, all our lives We've been short-changed All our lives, yeah, well this world gives us pain Every day, yeah, well that's one more cut Every day, yeah, well that's one more scar Shooting stars fall Well outside my window I'm leaving a world behind To feel this earthly incision I need tranquility A space to clear my vision A trip to eternity, yeah! A Wicked Digital Mission Well, all our lives We've been short-changed All our lives, yeah, well this world gives us pain Every day, yeah, well that's one more cut Every day, yeah, well that's one more scar Bridge: We're floating on red rivers so far from here We're going to places we always thought we should fear Now look below us...the earth looks so blue from here Now look ahead now...our future's so blue out there Well?... No more wondering How we're all gonna end No more wondering, yeah How life can begin again Well you've always blamed me For wanting too much Well I think I'll hitchhike it -yeah- Til luck picks me up Well, all our lives We've been short-changed All our lives, yeah, well this world gives us pain Every day, yeah, well that's one more cut Every day, yeah, well that's one more scar No matter where you are (one more scar) No matter where you are (one more scar) No matter where you are...
