Juice Lee (born Fred McKinstry) is a Hip Hop Emcee whose style is defined by creative wordplay and the ability to capture and entertain his audience. His rhymes go beyond a catchy hook over a good beat and offer the listener something to think about. His lyrics are drawn from real experiences and not fabricated images of success. "Juice Lee has the lyrical ability to paint a picture with his rhymes and most young adults can relate their experiences to that picture so the music touches them on a deeper level" Hannah (513k'nect) Juice Lee starting rapping at the age of 12 and made a name for himself free-styling (improvisational rhyming - a sign of a real Emcee) during battles at Cincinnati's original hip hop club, top cats. Since then, he has demonstrated that he can hold any audience captive from the moment he steps to a mic, to the moment he drops it without the need of anyone ad libbing in the background. "I've watched Juice Lee evolve into what a real MC is. He defiantly has to tools to leave a lasting impression in the Hip-Hop World. "-Skandal da Ruckus Man. He is currently wrapping up the production of his second album, Metanoia, for its release in spring 2007. Juice Lee is a lyricist and a performer; but he is also a class clown, a comic book nerd, and every girl's best friend. He jokingly touts himself as "the lame kid from the burbs" because he has not sacrificed his art and creativity to appeal to what's "popular". He has remained true to his motto: no money, no images, just a little bit of pain and a lot of good music.

Lyrics
at the ending of 05 was 10 years deep and still alive I'm still spitting life on my tracks and staying wise thought change would happen soon after my first LP but the only change I seen was the change within me there’s still no money still no dame still no fame only difference is a few more people heard of my name I’m on the net so that more people can see my face from soundclick to passthemic to myspace but what that mean? a small step in world of a dream I care about being stable not making some girls scream it would be nice but that’s not my vision of paradise this music's my love and I made a promise she stay my wife from ups and downs to just perfecting my sound I kept planning my attack to break through the underground and elevate above mainstream to something original a sound that was classical but yet still critical I don’t have a dream it’s a vision that I just write in my songs and hope the people who listen will see these leaders are wrong it’s an Idea and maybe my people will see but for now man this song is for me I had to give up on looking for love cuz it doesn’t exist not in that way for me prolly cuz I’m an artist cuz my love is this music and writing beautiful tales and right now my mind isn’t focused on females but I ain’t gon lie I keep it real because I’m a guy I ain’t with nobody but man oh my god did I try with the slightest signs of affection I was quick to apply but all of the chicks would look and laugh and quickly deny all of my feelings and my time that I gave in return and in all my struggles there was so much I learned ya I was goin to clubs dancing and playing they game but because of my gear and lack of funds they thought I was lame so I decided that I would get a shirt with that name and laugh At mostly every chick tellin me that I’m the same as the dude who lives with mom frontin rollin her whip flip the hook cuz I’m clown on this chick I don’t care With mounting bills and no money coming in from these rhymes people wondering when I’m gonna stop and give up the shine I say that its my time they say the dream is all in my mind it’s a lucrative hustle tell me why I’d give up the grind it’s a god given gift that I use everyday respect this form of expression and the things I convey this ain’t a gimmick its my true self I gotta portray you can hate me but just remember I don’t care what u say this track that I bump when I get in my ride this is the hook that I spit with no one else at my side this is the song that I quote when I get yelled at work this what I pump when I’m alone and I’m down and I’m hurt. the theme song when the hungry ain’t given a bone we grab the people by the face and bring you into the zone more than an artist I am a cat who blazes a trail with a foolish Idea that some good music will sell but for real I know its hard and this road is hell if its not me I know someone will rise an prevail but its cool my real people understand what I yell rest in peace big tay and devail
