Back in 2001, before all the symphonic metal bands like Nightwish came out, Andy, Sello, Lou and Chiara started the project of an alternative metal band with the goal to reach a new kind of alternative music! All started with the idea of a sweet female voice set against a growling/screaming voice. Music, in our mind, should be a compromise of extreme and classic metal, with strong melodies and some progressive influence. That's how the Dark Enchantment project was born!

Story behind the song
The vampire. The most classical picture of gothic music, but how cuold it be to live eternally in the shadows? How can it be to leave behind all our actual life is? This is a trip in what a creature of the night may live every day: wicked, scary yet so romantic and sweet... This song has been released by Andy and Chiara after the band broke and it shure reveal which was the direction the band wuold have taken!

This is great stuff, the mix of super heavy riffs with that sweet voice over them, and then they come toghether in a melodic chorus, its what all metal heads dream about. GREAt work.

LOVE THIS TUNE!!!!! Well done Andy! Kickass riffs! The contrast between the vocal parts make me think of some huge struggle between the good (Chiara) & evil (Andy) raging on and on. Very cool my kickass Italian friend! Can't wait for another installment!!!! Cheers! Neo
