GET MONEY, born Lucas Davis is the next phenomenon in rap/hip hop. At the early age of 11 he began singing and composing lyrics using his childhood Fisher Price tape recorder. With the artful use of his karaoke machine, he found that he had a natural talent to rap and emcee. Over the years, he has added composer and entrepreneur to his repertoire of writer and rapper. Not only is GET MONEY a great asset to rap/ hip hop, he is also an asset to the music industry at large. GET MONEY has pioneered his way to the top of his game, appearing in grammar school talent shows and now graduating to appearences at The Subterranean (Chicago), The Note (Chicago), and Metroplolis Downtown (Miami)(just to name a few). GET MONEY brings his everyday life experiences to his music. Growing up in Chicago's notorious "Uptown" neighborhood to now living in the "wild hundreds" as the far southside of Chicago is referred to, has provided GET MONEY with vast experiences to weave into his music. Some of his early musical influences were Tupac, Nas, and The Isley Brothers, just to name a few. His lyrics are raw and rough with a serious street edge.
