Story behind the song
My grandparents once owned a small cottage on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, a few miles north of Point Lookout. I spent a lot of time there as I was growing up I've been working on a set of songs I'm (for the moment) calling the "One Perfect Day". "Evening Breeze" is currently the only one of these songs I consider to be in a more or less "finished" state. Others will follow as I get them in the shape I want them to be. I hope you enjoy it.
