Lyrics
the empty sky is a mocking smile to the blisters on my skin haven't heard Your thunder roar above me or within where's Your face to plead my case Your ear to hear my sin wrapped in this skin You knit me in You made the heavens placed every star You are so near and yet so far You're so much greater than my worry and pain send down the rain I understand that I need Your hand to quench me in this drought Your living water lives within I'll never go without You're the one that made the sun and rain I have no doubt You're bigger than this box I put You in You made the heavens placed every star You are so near and yet so far You made the sea stop the mountains to shake send down the rain I rely on Your supply I'm nuthin without Your love I need Your rein inside my heart more than the sky above I am Yours and You are mine everything I am part of You are my God who forgives my sin You made the heavens placed every star You are so near and yet so far You are so faithful with mercy and grace send down the rain

Excellent progression and chording technique my friend. I like your vocals and their simplicity juxtaposed with the guitar work… I like this song in the stand alone manner you’re recorded it in, but think it would sound really good in a full band setting as well. God Bless Ron
