Hi, I'm Jim Burke, from Novi, Michigan. I've written a lot of songs and want to get some of them out on the net for people to hear. Story behind the song
Once again, this is a song that started with the chords, then the melody to go along with the chords, then the words to the chorus, followed by the verses. I've seen a lot of documentaries and stories about people who made it in the entertainment industry. They go off to pursue their big dream, and very often their friends and family think they're making a mistake, that they don't have a chance to make it. They'd be better of getting a 'real job'. But their persistence pays off. They chased their dream and realized it. So that's the gist of the song.
