In my younger years, I was Guitarist/Drummer of my high school band Unforgotten. I got out of playing music for a while. But now I'm back and revisiting the experimental project I started under the name "Yuku-chan". I'm now TOKYOxTRASH. (This is at least partially because I've come to realize that my gender is not exactly what I assumed it was a long time ago....)

Story behind the song
This is a song about transitioning into adulthood. I wrote it when I turned 18 because I was overwhelmed with the idea of having to be responsible for things. The thought of being on my own scared me. You know...when you're a kid...You're afraid of silly but generally concrete things. And there are things to make them go away...Nightlights....parents....etc. But when you grow up, everything is on you. Everything comes at you at once and there is nothing to make it go away. This feeling has waned a little bit since I wrote this song a while ago...But I still feel overwhelmed not being a kid. ^_^
