A soft melodic guitar based song (as are most of my recordings that I will upload here)
Artist picture
A 22 year old solo artist who hails from Basingstoke in Hampshire, and who enjoys playing, writing, singing and anything else to do with music.
Band? More of a solo artist playing with his own songs, own words, own playing style (maybe not the best, yet still learning), but lyricsfromhome is a generalisation for all the artists that create their own music as opposed to those that play covers, although covers are a main staple of my personal repetoire, to keep crowds entertained.

Story behind the song
Since breaking up from the mother of my little boy, I wrote this song in early 2007, literally 2 years after the break. It fills a hole where I haven't seen him recently :(
Lyrics
Looking Back I'm driving past you in my car My childhood sweetheart Things have changed these last two years Since we had to unfortunately part Your father never really liked me I didn't mean to hurt you so It was better in the long run for the both of us Only i'm struggling to let go Your future lies before you As mine does for me Two separate paths now But will the ever meet I search the horizon But I cannot see What lays in store, so What will be, will be The next time that I see you You're stacked high with toys For christmas is so big for you Now you have got two boys I am still single, sad and alone But you no longer care About the young man that you loved A gem that you thought was rare Your future lies before you As mine does for me Two separate paths now But will the ever meet I search the horizon But I cannot see What lays in store, so What will be, will be Instrumental Your future lies before you As mine does for me Two separate paths now But will the ever meet I search the horizon But I cannot see What lays in store, so What will be, will be
