This song is about a buddy of mine whom I felt at the time was sort of falling away from our friendship. Turns out I was dead wrong. But this is how I felt at the time. The lyrics don't really make a lot of sense, but they do to me.

Well, actually this page features my "solo" stuff. I primarily just write songs at home for the fun of it. And even still, I haven't done much of that recently because I've been busy playing in a local cover band Punch Judy, and raising two awesome boys with my wife. The stuff you will hear here is stuff I've pulled from the archives, of various ideas, riffs, songs, etc that I've messed with. I'm not trying to be the most original guy either. I do it for fun. I was starting to hit my stride when "life" set in, so I'm on hiatus for now. But I plan to get back into it in the next couple years. Lord knows I have the gear to do it. for a guy that doesn't record, I sure have all the tools, software, and plug-ins to do it!

Story behind the song
I gave Jimmie a cassette of this song idea I had with just drums, one guitar part, and lead vocals with a smattering of harmony and this is what he sent me back! I didn't expect for him to do anything to it other than give me some feedback. What a surprise! He added about ten gillion backing tracks too it, bass, and some addl guitar to double what I had done with just the one track. In hindsight, I wished I would have changed some things before he did all this work to it. Because as a result of his efforts, the song became to difficult to want to retrack. So I just left it as is.
