This is one of several songs I have written that is a personal tribute to my family. I have several tunes written dedicated to my beautiful wife, my children, and my grandchildren. This song in particular is dedicated to my grandaughter, Ashley. I love her dearly , as all of my family, and miss her everyday. She lives in Indiana which is pretty far from Texas.... way too far, as far as grandpa is concerned!
This song is something that I want to leave for Ashley. I know that the circle of life continues and she will someday have grandchildren of her own. Long after I'm gone, perhaps this song will touch her heart and remind her of a grandpa who loved her.
