He cries and he weeps, tears on the sides of his cheeks,
He’s deprived of sleep, he can’t survive, he’s weak,

to the insanity of the world, that’s handing him profanity,
but this kids 10-years-old he can’t handle this calamity,
that entering his mind, bending him towards crime

now its two years past, it’ll all blew by fast,
he smoked two years of his life away, cuz he used that grass,
a twelve-year-old drug baby, but started when he was ten
gawn’ be a thug maybe, but something happened before then,
his momma got sick, and not for long would she live,
everything’s wrong for this kid, now his mom’s gone dead,
“I defiantly won’t miss her”, what he told himself in a whisper,
but then he felt guilt, cuz he got what he had wished for,
see back when he was seven, his mom thought him a lesson,
she beat him till he was bleedin, then spat on him and left him,
left him in a cold room, alone in his own doom,
in a zone far from home thought this was his won tomb,
it was that flash in his mind, that made him lash out and cry,
broken glass of a life, he wanted to slash a knife and die,
but he look up and the sky, and he cried out to God,
“I need you Lord” and then he pout out his heart,
now it’s 5 years later and this boy’s 17,
by the Lord he’s redeemed, God saw he had a dream,
a dream of a family, with two lovin parents,
who weren’t always swearin’, and siblings who were carin,
these were blissful thoughts, they were a gift from God,
see this kid turned around, and now he gives his all,
he lives for God now, and by the word,
he survived his hurt, now he’s alive fa sure,
well, he grew up, he also knew true love,
and he won’t lose his touch, because this dudes to tough,
he knew to much, and screwed up as a kid,
but he knew that it’s true that Jesus Christ forgives,
the Lord, saved this kid, and he changed the way he lived,
the way he did, is not the way he is,
this kid was spiritually adopted, and physically too,
and now he’s living in truth, the Lord can give it you too….
