DCMS Records DCMS Records is a label dedicated to developing new Australian artists. DCMS Records aims to become involved in what is already happening within Sydney's live music scene through producing recordings that will help to further nurture and develop this community. Through this process, pathways will be generated between the DCMS and the music industry. DCMS students will be able to use these connections to develop their own careers. In addition to the 2006 compilation CD, the label has produced, launched and released EPs for the following artists: Flan Atlantic, Cuthbert & the Night Walkers and Tim Hart. DCMS Productions DCMS Productions is positioned within Sydney's live music scene, where it sponsors, 'presents' and produces original music events. DCMS Records CDs are sold at these events. Through building partnerships with other music business entities, DCMS Productions forms links that enable current students and graduates to generate revenue from all five-income streams relating to contemporary music: 1) Song Publishing 2) Record Sales 3) Merchandise 4) Ticket Sales 5) Sponsorship
