Story behind the song
I recently got a copy of "Dusty Fingers Vol.1" and heard "The Windmills of Your Mind." and was intrigued to make something out of it. Instantly, it has became probably one of my favorite songs period. I was hesitate on sampling it cause it had so many different sounds but after meditating on it, I decided to make something out of it.
I wanted to make something underground, real underground and let the drums produce this dark, rugged vibe. I pitched everything down and chopped about four good parts that I liked and that's what produced "Ashby."
