a duet with my friend, miao (a.k.a. "s y b a r i t"); it's a simple song with several complex meanings to it... the recording's a REALLY rough scratch from over a year ago, just to get it over and done with.
Nineteen year old Filipino armed with nothing but a guitar and some songwriting skills.
Kince is a 19-year old songwriter/singer who started out playing for poetry readings and for friends. His goal is to get his music out, and uploading his songs to the Internet is one way he does it best.
Story behind the song
my friend, miao (a.k.a. s y b a r i t) are both songwriters in our own right. well, it wasn't long before she said, "hey, i'm a soprano and you're a bass, and our voices are in almost the same pitch---why not try going at something together?" and so, we ended up forming the duo "flutterby, butterfly". this was our first successful recording; we wrote it one lazy afternoon, watching leaves falling on a pond. for the most part, she wrote her lyrics and i wrote mine...
