Story behind the song
Roundabout August 2001 I started production on a 120 bpm tune that was very long (hence the title) and repetitive. It consisted of only a synth (borrowed from Rave eJay), a synth bass (borrowed from a Drum & Bass sound collection) and numerous sets of drum loops (Tech House). Then in September of 2001 I continued work on it as I came across some awesome vocal clips that fitted the tune, but thats not where it ends. My then fiancé (now wife) heard the tune and offered to remix it. The rest, like they say, is history. By the way S.A.G.E. is an abbreviation for South African Girl Elaine, so now you know...
