Jim Cook was born in INEZ kentucky and toured with several major country bands including Keith Whitley. Taylor McKinnon who leads the Taylormacs is from Birmingham Alabama, and is a 30 year AF retiree. Both Men learned music at home and in Church. They met at San Bernardino Valley College where Taylor was a faculty and Jim was a student.Jim Cook and the TaylorMACs olay Friday nights at the Colton CA American Legion Hall, plus other venues.
