Story behind the song
Many years ago I was working on a novel that included some significant scenes set in the Phipps Run ravine in Schenley Park in Pittsburgh PA. While the book died, my affection for this little slice of wild grew into some sort of personal creation myth. This song came out of a recent visit to the Run.
