Welcome to the Samurai Penguin Studios Soundclick page. Here at SPS, it's about the music. The Bird Digs Music, especially high quality music. SPS is founded by the owner, Ernest Hart, and he does his best to produce music that is both entertaining, and of as high a quality as he can muster on limited resources. Despite the inability to physically PLAY an instrument to any large extent, he will sit for hours on end to bring you the best sounding pieces within his ability to mix. Trust his ears, The Bird does.

Story behind the song
I developed this originally as a background Music track for a mod for the game X3 Reunion. It's the TERRADINE Sector Theme. I recently fixed the mix, and it's been a massive hit. Imagine if you will, coming to the end of a long, often dangerous journey across the depths of space in the trade lanes. Finally you can see your destination planet in the distance. As the piano begins, you find yourself seeing glittering light above the planet. As you get closer, the lights take shape as massive space structures. Ever closer you get until you realize that you are looking at the largest orbital shipyard in the Galaxy. Terradine, Orbital Naval Yards. The shipyards are virtually ALIVE in themselves with hustling orbital and stellar traffic moving between stations and platforms. Everything from massive naval battleships, to fast scout fighters. As your adventure worn ship journeys deeper into this massive naval yard, you start to realize just how grand this orbital yard is. Everywhere you look, the most advanced technology in the galaxy, the most powerful warships, the fastest transports, it's all a spectacle that leaves you breathless. (Just watch where you're flying.) The shipyard is like a massive free floating orbital city. Finally, the song culminates in final docking procedure of the orbiting trade station, bringing your journey to a climactic close.
