In the words of James Taylor, It's me and my guitar. Always in the same mood! Then again, maybe my guitar is just humoring me - sigh -
Just me, I'm an old Folksinger that still plays out once in a blue moon. Thank you for listening to my primitive acoustic songs. I am a retired Army Bandsman, a certified Wall Wacker, and am currently a teacher. Next time I retire I am going back into Folksinging. It's the perfect occupation really, no hope of fame and fortune and definately keeps me humble. Folksinging just naturally makes me a better person I s'pose.

Story behind the song
I was answering a question that Moon asked and it turned into a song. This sort of thing happens every now and then.
Lyrics
Regrets Charles W - T Consaul August 3, 2007 1. The things I did not do, The things I did not say You know I wanted to, Common sense got in the way And when it's history, the price I have to pay Regrets 2. The place I've never been, Or will never see again The limp satisfaction, Of knowing I still can If I wasn't tied down like a slave to the plan Regrets C: If you never had any Then you really never lived If you've had too many Then it's really uncanny What the verdict will give Regrets 3. If you can't make the party, If you can't sing along If you're not so pretty, If you're not so strong When you don't even know what really went wrong Regrets 4. If you can't help a stranger, If you can't stop a friend If a loved one is in danger, If you can't even pretend You were ever given any power to defend Regrets C2: It isn't Depression, And it isn't the blues Every time you win, There's something else you have to lose And you never get to choose It's the consequence, Of a choice we have to make The leftovers of living, Hollow emptiness of giving Or the path you didn't take Regrets 5. That very first love, That you never did respond to That moment of truth, That you never got around to You haven't given up but you know you're bound to Regrets 6. Every sunrise, That you didn't get to see Because you dwelled too long, In your mediocrity The bitter gratitude that no one else was there to see Regrets (Slightly modified August 4th adn 5th)
