Lyrics
The angry crowd cheers as the flesh rips from His back Jesus moans and screams with pain at each attack He hears the soldier shout "Let's crown our new found king" Through blinding pain He feels the pressure and the sting and He falls down Oh how horrible the thorns that pierced His brow How horrible the whips that tore His back and the blood flowing down But oh how beautiful the scars of Jesus Christ! How beautiful the pain that bought my life! How beautiful They drag Him to the hill for murderers and thieves Wicked soldiers roughly grab His hands and feet The angry mob now grows quiet on the grounds The silence broken now by the sound of the hammer crashing down Oh how horrible the nails that pierced His hands How gruesome is the sight of broken flesh and the blood flowing down But oh how beautiful the scars of Jesus Christ! How beautiful the pain that bought my life! How beautiful How angels wished to come to Him that day and destroy the world that Jesus came to save but He chose to die But oh how beautiful the scars of Jesus Christ How I long to kiss those scars that bought my life How beautiful

Yes, a very good song with a good message. I agree that the vocals should be up a bit, but still very good production of a great song. Enjoyed it! Liked the bass and guitar riffs and effects.
