Story behind the song
Ketuba is the wedding ceremony for Jewish Ortodox believers. It means that the woman in the marriage must do everything as told and is supressed by her familiy and husbant. This song is against that. This is also the theme song for the upcoming record "breaking the codes of silence".
Lyrics
Ducked away in your book The one who says his word is true, Words spoken by wise men, Who were chosen by themselves. Seven days of purity, Reunited with the cause. The one who makes her world alive, She’s dying by his word. Breaking the codes of silence! No more believing in others but yourself. Equal in every way, Burn the ones who disagree. Abandoned by her family, You think you’re all alone. Thoughts dwelming in her mind, Founded by their god. Breaking the codes of silence! No more believing in a god but yourself! Equal in every way, Burn the ones who disagree. Seven days of freedom now, Disgust exists not anymore. She starts her life for her again, Begins her day of birth. Religion is war Religion is pain Religion is hypocricy Religion is done
