A Female Emcee On The Come UP!
Influenced by some of the first ladies of hip hop such as Salt & Pepa,Queen Latifah,Lauryn Hill,Da Brat and TLC. The bomb from the bay known as Emerald is poised to continue the tradition of real ladies on the mic. Originally from Sacramento,California.Emerald decided at an early age Seven that she not only wanted to pick up a mic, but wreck it. Although she represents the west, Emerald has called Detroit home for the last seven years. Refusing to be another female rapper overcompensating for lack of skills by becoming a sex object, Emerald has eleven years experience on the mic. An can bring it better than some male rappers and her use of metaphors and clever wordplay is testament of that.
