Story behind the song
White Van is the first glimpse into my first full-length release, SOUNDTRACK. The project began as an exercise in creating tension and anxiety with music, inspired by the realization that this is the meat of the horror film. SOUNDTRACK is the result of two years of writing and retro-fitting an album that is totally not about the individual parts, but rather the entire work, end to end, in a low light room, with headphones on. The "album" form still exists for true music lovers......

Sometime after 3, a white van with no windows pulled in my driveway. 2 men got out. They looked institutional. I could tell by how they were dressed this was not going to be a fun day for me. When they came into my house, they had the cold calculated look of people who dealt with people, and didn't like people. It was pretty much a quick deal. In no time I was strapped down to a gurney in the back of the van, on my way to here. There's something chilling about this place. Maybe it's the combined energy of souls trapped in their own minds. I'm different....and yet, here I am.
