THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG ONE LOVE By Fremont John Ashton One Love was written 3 days before we left for New York City to record the CD. It probably came to me faster than just about any song I’ve written. It certainly took far less time than any other song in the TIMELINE song collection. It only took me an afternoon to write One Love, which, is a song to my wife, Margi. Maybe that’s why it came so fast. I knew from the onset what it was about. The words just sort of dropped from the sky onto the paper. I just looked up somewhat surprised and said “Thank You”. What else could I do? I love a cool easy shuffle beat because when properly applied, it can be so very sexy. “One Love” is very sexy tune. Use with caution………or throw caution to the wind.
