Story behind the song
Breaking up with my first real sweetheart whom I went with all through high school was probably the inspiration for this song. I really sucked up the pity until I realized how disgusting I was. This song is the way I should've treated the whole situation years ago. Oh well, live and learn. And hindsight is 20/20...right?
