Story behind the song

This tune is a continuation of my experiments in slow tempo. Usually I work in 120bpm as some of you know. This tune is taken down to 90bpm. I kept it simple with only 36 tracks. Still it has my signature all over it. I hope you like it. Happy 4th of July and when the fireworks are over - come to the Ice Palace Delta for a refreshing moment. The inspiration for this tune is in the lyrics section if your curious. Oh, by the way - I made the story up too.

Lyrics

There is an abandoned listening post near the top of the world. It's now used for seismic monitoring and weather reporting - so I guess it's not completely abandoned. Anyway, once a year a group of scientists return to maintain the equipment - refresh batteries and upgrade equipment. They usually come during the thaw. Through the years they have come to lovingly nick name the post - Ice Palace Delta because of the huge pillers of ice that form around the entrance to the main building. There were dozens of photographs taken through the years posted all through the halls at the home office.
