Released just months after the attack of 9/11, Word Is War solidified CH RHYME SYNDICATE as a political punk rock hip hop powerhouse. With outspoken ideas and controversial viewpoints they managed to say something while sounding cool doing so. Though they released three classic albums, 2002's Word Is War captured their powerful sound most vividly. After they split in '04 they managed to work together as Piece Keeperz and New Money Inc, an eclectic urban record label.
