A string ensemble piece, inspired by jeremey soule's score for Oblivion. I composed this piece to go along with a poem I wrote of the same title. This song follows the events of the poem word by word and perfectly captures the atmosphere of it.

Welcome to the world of Solstheim! My goal with this project is to explore the beauty and mysticism of nature through music as well as capture the atmosphere of enchanted fantasy landscapes and the people that inhabit them. Most of all I just want to compose marvelous music straight from my heart and soul. Music to touch others and provide comfort. I was greatly inspired by European folk and ambient music and wanted to create something similar but entirely original and with my own highly emotional personal style. I encourage you to not just listen to my music but feel it, let it take you away to mystical lands where fantastic things await. A Nords Sunset By Chris Heinmiller A sky of crimson above as the sun resigns Trees casting great shadows upon this sacred hill This hill where many a nord sat to admire the beautiful forests Which the nine divine gave us Others say the town is the place to prosper But as for me and my ancestors we turned to the great forests and valleys For they gave us love and peace, shelter and even food for the nourishment of our bodies Oh how the nine sure have blessed us, with this beautiful land As I sit the red in the sky begins to go away as the yellow disc descends further Giving off its comforting light to others as their new day begins The Darkness comes and covers up the sky like a blanket I look to the stars for inspiration I feel the forest calling me; I heed its words and enter Upon entering I get the great feeling of joy and peacefulness As I have always experienced when alone in nature I walk the moonlit paths and close my eyes The soothing sounds of crickets and owls all around me I find an ancient alyied alter, I lay upon the stone and gaze up through the trees into the night sky The stars wink at me I wink back as a sign of appreciation I see the glowing blue orbs of the night fairies fly by me Off in the distance I hear the beautiful sound of a harp playing It is playing a joyful tune; I then drift off into the land of dreams Hoping to wake once again and enjoy the beautiful world which the nine hath given me Bless nature and the nine divine
