The last of the songs on 'Songs For Winter' and the last song I wrote in the time period. See notes.
The title pretty much says it all
Story behind the song
I felt that this was the perfect way to end an otherwise (mostly) dark and depressing set of songs. In terms of the entire album and the concept of winter, spring obviosly signifies the end, as well as a change in something. Also, this song came together so easily and blended a bunch of elements that I had been using throughout the entire writing process. Thus it serves as a stamp of where I was at the end of this album.
