Story behind the song

The genisis of this piece was part of an effort to learn to use the "hyperscribe" feature in MakeMusic's Finale 2007 notation software.  Hyperscripe allows one to play music directly in to the notation software and it is automatically notated.  It is an extremely rare peek into my pianistic ability since I do not preform in public anylonger.
