Story behind the song
This is the last song written out of 10 songs on "A Simple Life". It was written in part to express an appreciation for the listener.
Lyrics
Feels like the first time I picked up a pen when I’d written down What I expressed from the radio inside my head Sang a song and talked about what I’d been thinking and the words kept coming out If you tune me in we can sing together (Chorus) No I can’t tell you I can’t tell you I can’t tell at all If these words are clear If they come out wrong So many faces in the crowd will they understand and take this in That the words I love you can be healing And maybe we’re all different in some ways But we are the same embodiment of the One who’s the maker of this all (Repeat Chorus) (Bridge) I don’t know what they really wanna hear but the words I'm 'sayin are sincere when I say I just wanna be my true self Don't wanna be the limitations of anybody else and it's been so long so long so long so long since I have started out Just keep a 'movin on and on down that road and I guess were gonna find out Here we go (Repeat Chorus) No I can’t tell you
